Quietly, due to the availability of time, I begin to master mkl5. Questions arise along the way. At the moment, I am more interested in the points related to writing indicators. Here on #property are more relevant now moments.
I opened the standard zigzagcolor indicatorto see how the code is written.
1) I See the first strange moment:
#property indicator_buffers 5Previously, in mkl4, there was no second line, and in the first one, the number of buffers for drawing graphics was written. The rest that are used for calculations were not specified in this property at all. After running through the code, I got the opinion that now in mkl5, #property indicator_buffers indicates the number of buffers available in the indicator at all, and #property indicator_plots indicates the number of buffers for drawing graphics, right?
#property indicator_plots 1
#property indicator_color1 DodgerBlue, Redthe first color DodgerBlue refers to the 0th buffer, and the second color Red refers to the second buffer, right? Judging from the experiments, I have this opinion.
3) and the last question that concerns me, at the moment:
If on my 2nd question I think correctly, then judging by the help, this should also work:
#property indicator_width1 2, 5
I added this property to this standard zigzagcolor indicator, but the second digit does not give any result. Only the first one changes the thickness of both zig-zag lines, and the second one does not. Although, if you change the color property, then everything is fine there. That’s why I’m confused about this, because the overall picture does not add up.
