Recently, BTC was added to the list of tools. The very first quote (the oldest) has a date a couple of years earlier than the main set and, accordingly, a different price. The result is a price gap. Because of this, the candlestick chart is stretched into a horizontal one and is displayed near the upper border of the chart.
Q: How do I change this quote (or delete it)? In the terminal, I found the View > Symbols > > Bars. But you can only look there, but you can’t fix it.
Can you please tell me whether it is possible in principle, and if so, how.

Thanks, I’ll take a look. It looks like this is what you need.

The developers are against self-reading this file, so the format was not disclosed.
I advise you to discuss this topic not here )
Better yet, take the advice and create your own analysis tool

Yes, thank you very much.
I didn’t know the world worked like this .. unique. I’m behind the times 🙂

import to a new character. Then you destroy the old file and rename the new one. BUT if you click “Update”, the data will be restored. You can also squeeze the window so that the first bar goes over the edge. Or set a smaller number of bars in the window

Yes, you can, with standard functionality
1) Export quotes from MT5
2) Make the necessary changes
3) Import quotes as your own symbol

Thanks. That’s nonsense.
And if you programmatically rewrite the *.hc files yourself, then MT5 will rub them (for example, the next time you turn it on)?
And is there even a way to read-write *.hc files ?

In MT5-nothing. Write to the support broker, maybe they will fix it.
